I was a classmate of Gary’s at Saint Michaels in Maple Grove. Gary was indeed a wonderful person and was considerate of everyone. I recall as a young student at Saint Michaels when Gary left to attend Chesaning High School. Gary sent us a letter (read to us by our teacher) telling us how much he missed us all and that he would always cherish his time at Saint Michaels. Gary was (and always will be) one of our best. Reading these posts it’s amazing how many lives Gary made better. Godspeed Gary.

So sorry to hear of Gary's sudden passing. Graduated with Gary and thought very highly of him. He was a great guy and friend to everyone. Have not seen him in quite a few years and just recently learned he moved in just across the road from the home i built behind the pond on Peet rd. Matter of fact did not know until i was just reading his obit. that we were born the same day in the same hospital. when i meet him some day in heaven we will have to celebrate a birthday together. again, sorry to hear of your sudden loss and may gods grace travel with the family in your grieving times.

gary will always be one of my dearest friends.
we had a great time in high school. gary always cherished and talked of so fondly,-- were his HS football days like it was yesterday and the times we would just drive around doing stupid chit. i loved gary's dry $en$e of humor, the way he would say something at the end of a conversation and i would stop, think-- then i would chuckle because of some goofy little added 'gary-ism'. i can almost hear his short laugh -- ''huh huh'' sounding and see that great smile of his. i loved the times i would visit gary and his family. tho i moved so far away, we always made it a point to get together when i visited. then i would leave and i'd say to him-- ''i love you gary, take care of yourself brother man.'' but gary, being the type of
'a man's man' would only reply -- ''ditto''
i will miss you dearly my good friend and we will see each other again.
... and as gary would have said to me-- ''not too soon if i can help it.''
ditto gary... ditto.
