Passed away Monday evening January 25, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. Age 79.  Sally has been cremated.  A Memorial Service will take place at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chesaning on Saturday February 6, 2016, at 11:00 am.  Pastor Joel W. Thomford will officiate. The family will be at the church beginning at 10:00 am to welcome family and friends. A luncheon will follow the service. 

 

Sally was born March 31, 1936, in Flint, the child of Gus and Lena (Cousins) Parrish.  She had worked at Hayes Specialties, Saginaw. She loved to cook, read, fish and go to the casino. Above all, she loved her family.

 

Those left to mourn her include her husband William H. Reetz Sr., sons: William H. Reetz Jr. (Connie) of Albee Twp., Brian M. Reetz (Amy) of Saginaw Twp., Her daughter Cathy Rose passed away on April 26, 2005.  Sally is also survived by her four grandchildren, Stacey and Samantha Reetz, Erin Rose, and Emily Reetz; a brother, Michael Parrish (Dawn) of Alabama; and a sister-in-law, Betty Parrish.  Her five brothers, Art, Jerry, Bill, Stan and Benny Parrish have all passed away.

 

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chesaning or Compassus Hospice, 401 Center Ave, Suite 130, Bay City, Michigan 48708.
