Mr. Davis was supportive, inspirational, insightful, and a source of limitless optimism. I am profoundly saddened to hear of his passing. I have thought of him often since my years at CHS.

Sue & I give our condolences to Louise & family. I enjoyed playing golf, cards, and hanging
out with Ron.  We had fun flipping for coffee at the Redwood Inn after school. Our ice fishing weekends at your cabin & Duane's were a blast. There were a few BS sessions with
Ross in the lounge.  Louise, we won't forget going to The Sands with Connie & Jeff.  You had so many dollar chips the day we left for the airport! Ron was a good guy & we'll miss him.

Mr. Davis gave students a sense of well-being and peace during their years in High School.  He truly believed in educating the student's whole being.  He will be sadly missed.

Uncle Ron - Thank you for all the wonderful memories from my childhood.  Camping, hunting, fishing, family picnics, and more.  You were a great teacher, and always added your own special touch to each event.  You will be missed.  With Love, Your Nephew Eric

Louise were so sorry to read about Ron's death.  So sorry that we were never
able to get together although you both have been in our thoughts so often
especially after last years Christmas card which sounded like things were not
to good with the two of you.  Ray hasn't felt good for sometime now and on
all kinds of heart medication, I'm doing fairly good but have to have a heart
stress test next week as I'm supposed to have knee surgery mid September.
Take care your friends Ray and Marion

I can still hear Mr. Davis and Warren Newman at the homecoming game in 1963.  A great educator.  And what's even more, a nice person who always had time to advise.    Be an educator, they need men in schools,  he said.  I did.
