Neitling Family, picturing the reunion in Irene's heavenly home. Remembering as I read obit. Her mom ( Barbara) was sister to my gram (Margaret Bishop). Still recall Gram talking of all her siblings. Big family, lots of connections. Aren't we lucky? Warm wishes.

Dear Family of Irene Nietling........Wow....an end of an era for all of us in the family of Peter and Theresa Nietling......an incredible family in every sense of the word.....so supportive of each other and the spouses.........everyone was family ....getting together to visit, play cards, drink a beer or go fishing were magic and the next generations all felt so connected............everyone should have a family experience like that..................tragically Uncle Fred died young in 1965 and everyone was heartbroken.........yet his wife and children hung together and made a good life for all....he would be so proud.......time took more and more of the family to heaven and eventually only our dear and precious Aunt Irene was all we had left to hang onto............to stay connected to the uncles and aunts that passed away earlier.....and we all treasured her.....and now at the time of her death it is a poignant moment when that chapter in the lives of so many of us is now history......never to be forgotten........always to be treasured.......always there to emulate in our own lives......because my granddaughter will graduate from Army boot-camp in Missouri, Fort Leonard, we will be there with her and will not be able to come and say goodbye to our wonderful Aunt Irene and all the family....that so saddens us.....but all of you will be in our minds and in our hearts.......and in our prayers.............all of you have done such a magnificent job of caring for your mom and grandmother....what a tribute to the legacy of both Fred and Irene...........so I will say goodbye from another state but my heart will be will all of you in Chesaning..................eternal rest grant onto Irene........as she shares heaven with Fred and the rest of the Nietling family.......I asked my mom (Pauline Nietling) to make sure Irene got a good tour of heaven.....I know she will....so, love to all of you, I am so sorry I could not be with you....love, Rich and Jan Wallen

My condolences to my Nietling cousins. Aunt Irene was a sweet lady and was blessed with a long life. Uncle Fred and Aunt Irene were my godparents. So I feel connected though she always brought Dennis with her to our gatherings as Uncle Fred had passed. Take comfort in memories.
