HOLLERBACK, William A. – of Chesaning, died Monday, September 14, 2020. He was 83 years of age.
Bill was born June 8, 1937 in Chesaning to the late Adolf and Lena (Traub) Hollerback and was a resident of Chesaning area his entire life. He was a 1955 graduate of St. Michael School in Maple Grove. He served in the National Guards. Bill was united in marriage to Kaye Wurdock on May 11, 1963 in Bay City. She preceded him in death on February 13, 2014. Mr. Hollerback retired from Midland Ross in Owosso. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus St. Christopher Council # 2943. Bill enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bikes, going to his cabin in Mio, hunting and fishing, working on classic cars and has 2 older Ford Mustangs.
Surviving are: children: Lisa (Bob) Wilson of CT, Billy (Sherri) Hollerback of Frankenmuth, Kathy Hollerback (Paul Routly) of Grand Blanc, Tom Hollerback of Chesaning; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley (Larry) Shrock of Saginaw, Marilyn (Art) Sidam of Montrose; many nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends.
Visitation will be at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 2-7 p.m. at which time a rosary will be prayed by the Knights of Columbus. There will be a private funeral for the family with military honors. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association. Following Covid 19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing practiced at the funeral home. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
