Theresa G. Emmendorfer Obituary
Theresa G. Emmendorfer of Chesaning, age 91, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Wellspring Lutheran Services of Frankenmuth.
Theresa was born in Saginaw on December 4, 1928, a daughter of the late Robert and Katherine (Sikorski) Sperry. She was a lifetime resident of Chesaning. She had worked at Hamilton Electric Company and Spiegels. Theresa was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #4090 of Montrose. She wrote stories and songs and enjoyed music, ceramics, painting, and playing cards.
Those left to cherish her memory left include her sons, Thomas (Shelly) Emmendorfer, Fred (Janet) Emmendorfer, James (Ellen) Emmendorfer, and Paul (Faye) Emmendorfer, all of Chesaning, and Richard (Jeri) Emmendorfer of North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Jean Emmendorfer; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Sikorski of Grayling; sister, Elizabeth (Charles) Trout of Chesaning; and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Adam, on October 28, 1982 and a son, Andrew, on December 15, 2015.
Cremation has taken place. Pastor David Yelland will officiate at her memorial service held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Misiuk Funeral Home, 202 S. Front Street, Chesaning. Her family will be present at the funeral home to greet relatives and friends from Noon Wednesday until time of the memorial service.
