Theresa E. “Terri” Frelitz of Chesaning passed away Monday afternoon, October 25, 2021, at Sparrow Hospital of Lansing. She was 64 years of age.
Theresa was born in Hillsdale, Michigan on February 3, 1957, the daughter of Albert D. and Vaida E. (Foster) Harris. She was united in marriage to William D. Frelitz in Gladwin on September 17, 1977. They have been long time residents of Chesaning.
Terri worked as a Secretary at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chesaning and its school. She later worked at Sparrow Home Care as Clinical Support for 23 years. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and served in many capacities, especially Women Serving Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Terri is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Bill; their loving children, Brandy (Chris) White of Saginaw and Don (Amber) Frelitz of West Salem, Wisconsin; their adored grandchildren, William, Ashton, Owen, Jackson, and Christian White and Eleana, Kaelyn, Elijah, and Gideon Frelitz; her sister, Beverly (Jim) Auer of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David A. and A. David Harris.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 133 Commercial Street, Chesaning. Pastor Paul Tessmer will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Friday at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning and again Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
