Tara Marie Walser

WALSER, Tara Marie – of Chesaning, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at her home. She was 48 years of age.

Tara was born July 5, 1977, in Owosso a daughter of Thomas and Patricia (Tithof) Walser. She was a 1995 graduate of Chesaning Union High School then attended Saginaw Valley College and Ross Medical. She was a resident of the Chesaning area most of her life. Tara enjoyed spending time with her son, was passionate about cooking, going to the beach and catching some sun, watching classic movies with Audrie Hepburn, enjoyed photography, Janis Joplin and would do anything for anybody.

Surviving are: her son, Hunter Williams (companion Mea) of Saginaw; her Yorkshire terrier; parents, Patricia and Thomas Walser of Chesaning; sister, Carmen Williams of Grand Rapids; brother, Jason (Kristen) Walser of Chesaning; nieces and nephew, Caitlyn Ford, Skylar Gotham and Luke Walser; 4 great nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and other loving family.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Chesaning. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of mass at 11:00 am.
