Shirley A. Bolf of Brady Twp. passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 18, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was 69 years old.
Shirley was born in Saginaw on August 25, 1950, the daughter of Peter and Frances (Neitling) Bolf. She was a graduate of Buena Vista High School in the Class of 1968.
Shirley had worked as a secretary for 20 years for Meijer in their Owosso store. She was a member of the former St. Michael Catholic Church in Oakley. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s productions and sporting events and teaching them to sew, cook, bake, and make candies. She loved traveling the states with her children and grandchildren and the family card parties. Shirley enjoyed playing in her flower gardens and meeting new people. She adored her cats and her rescued cats.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Margaret (David) Cramblet of Montrose, Heidi (Raymon) Birchmeier of New Lothrop, and Scott (Christine) Gengler of Las Cruces, NM; her children’s father, Bernard Gengler of Montrose; son-in-law, Les (Lynn) Chrysler of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Lane, Ondrea, and Lacy Birchmeier, all of New Lothrop, Nicholas Gengler and Diego Herrera, both of Las Cruces, NM, Jimmy (Katie) Chrysler of Muskegon, and Sammy Chrysler of Grand Blanc; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Chrysler of Muskegon; sister, Janet (Bill) Miller of Saginaw; niece, Stacy (Shay) Nelson of St. Charles; nephews, Greg (Martha) Weiler of Saginaw, Yale (Lori) Miller of Lovells, and Tad (Eileen) Miller of Newburg, PA; and other family and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Victoria Weiler; and a daughter, Tammy Chrysler.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.
