Scott William Linzey Obituary
Scott William Linzey, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. He was born in Owosso on August 13, 1965, a son of William and Sharlene (Maike) Linzey. Scott was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he owned and operated multiple construction businesses throughout his life. In 1999, Scott was married and had two sons, Jerad and Austin. He enjoyed hunting and cooking, and loved the times shooting with his boys. Most of all, Scott loved spending time with his family and friends.
Scott is survived by his children: Jerad (Alyssa) Linzey and Austin Linzey; a grandson, Luke, who was everything to Scott; his mother, Sharlene Towns; siblings, Kim (Pat) Boyd, Chad (Tammy) Linzey, and Lanette (Joe) Emmons; along niece and nephews, Nicholas (Britney) Kulhanek, Ahren Emmons, and Emma Emmons. He was preceded in death by his father, William Linzey; and his grandparents, Louis Maike, Vivian Beardsley, and Merle and Ruth Linzey.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4–6 pm at Misiuk Funeral Home, 202 South Front Street, Chesaning with a Time of Sharing Memories at 6 pm. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
