GROSS, Sandra Kay – of Chesaning, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her residence. She was 74 years of age.
Sandra was born September 14, 1950, in Saginaw the daughter of Asahel and Florence (Sackrider) Phillips. She was united in marriage to Joseph Gross on June 25, 1971. Sandra had worked as a custodian for the Chesaning Union Schools. She was a member of the Chesaning School Sports Boosters. She loved to watch her kids and grandkids play sports and she enjoyed reading, doing Diamond Dots and watching Hallmark TV movies.
Surviving are: sons: Brian (Stephanie) Gross of Oakley, Tim Gross of Aurora, CO, Daryl (Abby) Gross of Chesaning, David Gross (companion Krista) of Oakley; grandchildren: Taylor, Ty and Sophia; sisters, Janice (Kurt) Willie and Kathy (Phil) Larner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carol DeShazo, Dorothy (Tom) Wendling, Bill Gross, and Denny Weisenberger; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Gross; her parents, Ace and Florence Phillips; parents-in-law, Carl and Agnes Gross; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Weisenberger, Melvin (Pat) Gross, Ray DeShazo, and Joyce Gross..
