Ronald E. Hunt Obituary
HUNT, Ronald E. – of Chesaning, died Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 87 years of age.
Ron was born July 26, 1937, in Lansing, MI to the late Earl and Mary (Krsa) Hunt and was a longtime resident of Chesaning. He was a 1956 graduate of Chesaning Union School. He was united in marriage to Jennine Ryan in July of 1956 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Mr. Hunt retired in 1995 from Consumers Power with over 40 years seniority. Ron was a member of St. Peter Parish, Owosso Conservation Club and enjoyed gunsmithing.
Surviving are: wife, Jennine; sons: Ken (Sally) Hunt of Chesaning and Donald Hunt of Flushing; grandchildren: Adam (Tracey) Hunt, Kellie (Matt) Reed, Katie Hunt (Drew Galli), Stephen (Cheryl) Hunt, Laura (Kenny) Stewart, Jilliann (Ryan) Hunt, Cody (Whitney) Hunt, Brooke (Tyler) Wizner, Nathan Hunt, Jared Hunt, and Caroline Hunt; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Carole) Hunt of Ortonville; sister-in-law, Margaret Hunt of Presque Isle; many nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Hunt.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Peter Parish Catholic Church in Chesaning. Fr. Andrezej Boroch will officiate. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Chesaning. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Misiuk Funeral Home and then Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. You may light a memorial candle or share memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
