Obituary
ADAMS, Ronald E. – of Chesaning died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Covenant Medical Center Harrison in Saginaw. He was 64 years of age.
Ronald was born in Owosso on October 12, 1958, a son of the late John and Eileen (Gilles) Adams. Ronald had lived in Chesaning all his life. He was united in marriage to Laura J. Fondren in Saginaw on December 28, 1992.
Ronald had worked as a welder at Flint Metal Fab. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed gardening and birdwatching, and he made a few birdhouses to attract even more birds. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Laura; their children, Kevin (Garrett) Darby of Chesaning, Richard (Kaitlin) Adams of Saginaw, and Amanda (Joseph) Lincoln of Montrose; his grandchildren, Emma, LeRoy, Declan, and Lucas; a sister, Cheryl (Mark) Holden of Chesaning; his mother-in-law, Patricia Fondren of Oakley; a godson, Travis P. Holden of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Boyd Fondren; his brothers, Michael and Richard Adams; and a nephew, Kelly Adams.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Pastor Walt Yeomans will officiate. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
