Robin J. Smith Obituary
Robin J. Smith of Flint, age 56, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at her residence. Visitation will be held at the Misiuk Funeral Home, 202 S. Front Street in Chesaning on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. with a Time of Family Sharing at 7 p.m. that evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Robin was born May 11, 1961, in Flint to the late Roy and Roberta (Allen) Castro and was a lifelong resident of the Linden and Flint areas. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Smith on November 26, 1980. Robin was employed at Meijer’s then for many years at Listening Ear Group Home. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, reading, being outside and was lucky at Lotto.
Surviving are her husband, Ken; children, Tabitha Smith of Flint, Kelly Smith of Flint, Kenny (Lisa) Smith of Vassar, and Kevin Smith of FL; her grandchildren, Makenna, Marley, Morgan, Lilly, Ella, Landyn and Kingston; her siblings, Rick (Barb) Castro of Linden, Roy (Lee) Castro of Flint, Jinx Castro of Byron, Rocky Castro of Holly, and Ron Castro of Linden; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Castro; sister, Jonnie Castro; and sons, Jake, Donny and Richard.
