Rebecca S. (Bila) McDougall

McDougall, Rebecca S. – of Chesaning, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at her Michigan residence. She was 70 years of age.

Becky was born September 3, 1952, in Flint to the late Harold and Evelyn (Birchmeier) Bila and was a resident of Chesaning her entire life. She was a 1970 graduate of Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School and went to cosmetology school in Owosso. Becky was united in marriage to Richard McDougall on September 29, 1973. She owned and operated the Ultimate Image for many years. Mrs. McDougall was Past President of the Chesaning Chamber of Commerce, served on numerous Showboat Committees and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Maple Grove. She enjoyed spending the winter months at their Florida home with many special friends. She also enjoyed baking, scrapbooking for her grandchildren, playing cards and being with friends and family.

Surviving are: husband, Rick; daughter, Gretchen Phillips-Williams; son, Craig McDougall; grandchildren: Thomas, Collin, Addison and Laiklyn all of Chesaning; siblings: Virginia Wazny, Judy (Dick) Tithof, Cindy (Bruce) Everett, Sam Bila, Valerie (Roger) Witt, and Jeff Bila (Lisa Kennel); brother-in-law, Dan Azelton; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: great-nephew, Kwade Chapman; sisters, Lois Azelton and Lisa Bila; and brother-in-law, Larry Azelton.

A funeral mass will take place on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Maple Grove. Fr. John Cotter presiding. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
