Patty Sue Thompson

THOMPSON, Patty Sue – of Ashley, died Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her residence. She was 70 years of age.

Patty was born July 1, 1952, in St. Johns, MI to the late Perry and Pearl Thompson. She was a longtime resident of Ashley and was a graduate of Ashley High School. She retired from General Motors with 25 years seniority. Patty attended Oakland Community Church. She enjoyed bead working, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with family especially Bojangles her therapy dog.

Surviving are: siblings: Ruth Ann Ingersoll, Rosemary Edwards, June Husted, Jane Thompson, Harry (Grace) Thompson, Melvin (Deanna) Thompson; special "adopted" sister, Judy Simmons; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: siblings: Carl Thompson, Earl Thompson, Dale Ray Thompson, Alberta (Markara) Teed, Bertha Meseraull, Florence Thompson and Alice Griffin.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Rev. Dr. John R. Miller officiating. Burial to follow in Eureka Cemetery, Greenbush Twp. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 p.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
