Patricia A. "Trish" Kohagen Obituary
KOHAGEN, Patricia A. “Trish” – of New Lothrop, died Saturday, August 1, 2026, at her residence. She was 78 years of age.
Trish was born January 3, 1948, in Flint to the late Herbert and Lillian (Tagge) Korf. She grew up and was a resident of Hazelton Twp. her entire life. She was a 1966 graduate of Chesaning Union Schools and earned her Master’s degree in English from University of Michigan. Trish was united in marriage to Edward Kohagen on October 19, 1968. Mrs. Kohagen taught Special Education for Merrill School District for over 20 years retiring in 2009. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She and her family enjoyed camping in the Ludington area.
Surviving are: husband, Ed; children: Scott (Trina) Kohagen of Chesaning, Amy Kohagen of Owosso, Steve Kohagen of New Lothrop, and Mike Kohagen of Chesaning; grandchildren: Ethan, Grace, Brady and Parker; brothers: Ron Korf of Chesaning and Don Korf of Oakley; many nieces, nephews and other loving family. She was also preceded in death by: a brother, Jerry Korf; and a sister-in-law, Della Korf.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2026 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1629 West Brady Road, Chesaning. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Misiuk Funeral Home and then Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.
