Pamela K. Stevens Obituary

STEVENS, Pamela, K. – of Chesaning, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Argentine Care Center. She was 70 years of age.

Pamela was born January 26, 1954, in Owosso to the late Cloris and Mary (Gross) Witherell and was a lifelong resident of the Chesaning and Brant areas. She had been employed at Uncle Johns Cider Mill in St. Johns for many years. In her younger years, she attended Racy Free Methodist Church. She was a member of the RedStar CB and the Teddy CB’ers clubs. She enjoyed parades, horseback riding, watching westerns, cookouts, crocheting and embroidery, being with her sister, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are daughters, Heather Kroll (Matt Hodges) of Brant and Audrey Searles (Jermey Chesney) of Saginaw; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Stevens (Tim Thomas) of Chesaning; stepfather, Jim Newvine of Chesaning/Brant; beloved fur baby, Sisco; sister-in-law, Norma Witherell of Burt; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stevens on January 24, 1989; daughter, Awanda Leudtke; sister, Dawn Hawes; and brother, Terry Witherell.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning with Rev. John James officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Private inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, St. Charles, at a later date. Charitable donations made in memory of Pamela may be given to the Oakley Community Church or the family. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
