Norman L. Gregory Obituary
GREGORY, Norman L. of Chesaning, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Chesaning Comfort Care. He was 77 years of age.
Norman was born in Owosso on April 12, 1945, a son of the late Carl Henry and Susan (Ochodnicky) Gregory. Norm graduated from Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 1963. He was united in marriage to Rebecca (Becky) Willits in Las Vegas over 50 years. He was baptized at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chesaning.
Mr. Gregory had worked at General Motors for thirty years before his retirement. He was a member of the UAW. He enjoyed backpacking, hunting, fishing, and cross-country skiing.
Norm is survived by his beloved wife, Becky; a brother, Fred (Janet) Gregory, a sister, Jeannie Gregory, and a sister-in-law, Jean Ann Gregory, all of Chesaning; nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. Norm was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William “Bill” Gregory on November 3, 2015; and a brother, Don Gregory on September 1, 2022.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 133 Commercial Street, Chesaning. Pastor Paul Tessmer will be officiating. Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the memorial service. Donations given in memory of Norman are suggested to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
