Norman A. Hickmott

Norman A. Hickmott of Chesaning died Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso. He was 81 years of age.

Norm was born March 7, 1940, in Chesaning Twp. to the late Kenneth and Ila (Schroeder) Hickmott. He was a 1958 graduate of Chesaning High School. Norm was united in marriage to Patsy Lonsway on October 14, 1961. Mr. Hickmott retired from Crop Production Services after 17 years of service. He also worked at Peet Packing for over 30 years and has always been a farmer while holding his other jobs.

Surviving are: his wife, Patsy; children: Norman (Debra) Hickmott Jr. of Chesaning, Carl (Julie) Hickmott of Fenton, Robert Hickmott of VA, Audra (Larry) Williams of Indian River; ten grandchildren: Sarah (Nathaniel) Murrey, Michael, Lauren, Calleigh, Marissa, Cody, Cole, Kendra, Steven and Samantha; one great-grandchild; brother, Kenneth (Maryann) Hickmott of Birch Run; sister-in-law, Betty Lee of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and John Hickmott.

Private funeral services were held Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Burial followed in Wildwood Cemetery. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
