Noreen Ann Ruthig Obituary
RUTHIG, Noreen Ann (Bitterman) – of Chesaning, died Monday, April 11, 2022, at Emerald Meadows of Cascade. She was 65 years of age.
Noreen was born March 20, 1957, in Owosso to the late Bernard and Patricia (Lynch) Bitterman and was a resident of Chesaning all of her life. She had been employed at Saginaw Steering Gear for over 17 years. Noreen was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending NASCAR races, sporting events, classic rock concerts, riding her bicycle and spending time with family at Higgins Lake.
Surviving are: daughter, Patricia Brian (fiancé Troy McCormick) Grand Rapids; son, Chad Ruthig (companion Liane Burkhard) of Royal Oak; siblings: Kathleen Zervan of Chesaning, Christine Bitterman of St. Charles, Tim (Sharee) Bitterman of Chesaning, Nancy Laman (Ron Baker) of Rockford, IL, Danny Bitterman of Lowell; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, David Bitterman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Pastor Janine Plum officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to Showboat Park or River Rapids Park c/o Village of Chesaning.
