Melissa Marie Martin Obituary
MARTIN, Melissa Marie – of Chesaning passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at UM Health-Sparrow Hospital in Lansing due to cardiac arrest from a fatal car accident. She was 27 years of age.
Melissa was born on January 5, 1997, a daughter of Timmy and Angela White. She was a very loving, caring, and sweet young lady. She enjoyed swimming, camping, and watching sunsets and loved spending time with family and friends.
Melissa is survived by her parents, Angela (Martin) and Timmy White, Sr; sister, Chloey White; brother, Timmy White Jr.; grandparents, Ronald and Janet Martin, and Mae Waldren; aunts and uncles, Rachel and Rick Schultz, Paul and Debra Martin, Dan Martin, Maggie Martin, Heather White, John Shane and Rick Shane. She thought of Aunt Chris and Uncle Gary as grandparents; great aunt, Rosemary Bocek; many cousins; and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Ray Martin; aunt, Christine White; uncle, Gary Martin; grandma, Patricia White; grandpa, Danny White; grandpa, Fred Waldren; and uncle, Tommy White, Sr.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove. Fr. Robert Kelm celebrating. Inurnment to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m.
