Marlene P. (Zajdlik) Vrable

VRABLE, Marlene P. – of Maple Grove Township, died Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was 77 years of age.

Marlene was born December 21, 1947, in Owosso to the late Carl and Jeanette (Kligar) Zajdlik and was a resident of the Chesaning area her entire life. She was a 1966 graduate of Chesaning High School and then married Robert Vrable on October 1, 1966. Marlene had worked shortly for Gracie’s, Brass Bell, Rexall Pharmacy, Hallmark, but mostly was a mom. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove. Marlene enjoyed cooking, baking, tending to her flowers, reading, but especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are: husband, Robert; children: Keith (Kristy) Vrable of Chesaning, Trina (Troy) Feltman of Howell, Heather (Michael) Brown of Davison; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; canine furbaby, Suzie; sister, Sharon Nelson of IN; brothers-in-law: Howie Gross of Chesaning, John Stasa of Owosso; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Rose Mary Krzciok, Cindy Gross, and Diane Stasa.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 12, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Maple Grove. Fr. Robert Kelm celebrant. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until time of mass at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the family.
