Mark B. Larkin

Larkin, Mark B.  “Papa Mark” – of Montrose, died Friday, April 4, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was 63 years of age.

Mark was born August 22, 1961, in Flint, a son of Howard and Patricia (Reed) Larkin and had resided in Montrose and Frederic, MI. Mark had been employed by Prestige Delivery Service in Grayling for over 12 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trail bombing, mushroom hunting, playing cards and his Playstation, taking trips up north and camping. He devoted to his children, grandchildren, friends and family. He was known amongst his family to be the best grill chef.

He was incredibly loved and will be deeply missed by all that knew him especially his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are: children: Tonya (Cheppy) Ledesma of Montrose, Zac (Vanessa) Larkin of Montrose, Jason Witherell of Farwell; grandchildren: Brennen, Logen, Rileigh, Blake, Maddie, Damion, Nathan, Gabby, Eric, Leland, Nacora, Brandon, Paxton, Kyro, Neko, Alyssa, Yvonne, Jennie, Gloria, and Emily; mother of his children, Christine Weber; father, Howard Larkin of Montrose; grandmother, Gladys Reed; siblings: Scott Larkin, Greg (Toni) Larkin, Mike Larkin, Lisa (Jesse) Chrysler; many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. He was an adopted dad and grandfather to many, many people and children. He was also preceded in death by: daughter, Ashley Witherell; mother, Patricia Larkin; grandparents, Murry and Lena Larkin; and best friend, Mitch Ross.

A Memorial Dinner will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Chesaning Lions Club Hall, 17200 Corunna Rd, Chesaning. Contributions in his memory may be made to the family. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
