Marie A. Adams Obituary
ADAMS, Marie Bueche – of Chesaning.
After 107 years, God decided Marie’s work here was done and took her home on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Marie was born on November 29, 1918, and was one of ten children born to Joseph and Adeline (Bauman) Bueche. She lived in Chesaning her whole life and was a lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church. In 1939, she married Bernard H. Adams. He preceded her in death in 1972. Marie was a beautiful soul inside and out and will be remembered for many things especially her strong faith, her kind and generous nature and her special grandma’s spaghetti. She never met a card game she didn’t like and enjoyed sharing her opinion but always with a good heart. She was a strong and independent woman and we all are blessed for having known her.
She was also preceded in death by: sons: Bernard and James; granddaughter, Kelly Wilson; son-in-law, Philip Bockhold; siblings: Norbert, Wilfred, Robert, Louise Kowalsky, Birgetta Patterson Gilles, Margaret Jackelwicz, and Charlotte Bila.
Left to celebrate her life are: daughters: Susan (Patrick) Wilson, Kathleen Bockhold; son, Joseph (Shirley) Adams; daughters-in-law: Diane Adams and Ann Adams; grandchildren: Jennifer Mahoney, Bernard Adams, Aaron Adams, Elizabeth Bean, James Adams, Michael Wilson, David Adams, Debbie Summerfield, Eric Adams, Dan Adams, Stephen Bockhold, and Brian Bockhold; siblings: Kenn Bueche and Kathleen Chilton; and a whole host of great and great-great grandchildren, dear friends and other relatives.
The family will be forever grateful to Marie's caregivers at Chesaning Union Court who treated her like their own mother.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2026, at St. Peter Parish Catholic Church, 404 South Wood Street, Chesaning. Visitation will be that Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until time of the Mass. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
