Marie Sutter Obituary
SUTTER, Marie Rachel – of Brant, died Friday, August 7, 2026, at her residence. She was 63 years of age.
Marie was born May 12, 1963, in Saginaw. She was raised in Montrose and Brady Township and lived in Brant the past 14 years. She was a 1981 graduate of Chesaning Union Schools and was united in marriage to Rick Sutter on September 20, 1980. Mrs. Sutter was a purchasing agent for a steel fabrication company for 15 years along with being a homemaker. She attended First Baptist Church of Ovid. Marie enjoyed sewing, camping, horseback riding, playing cards and dominos with her family and enjoying coffee with family and friends.
Surviving are: husband, Rick; daughter, Mellissa (Joe) Grammatico of Brant; son, Rick Sutter Jr. of Owosso; grandchildren: Gianna, Salvatore and Isabella; parents: David (Lillian) Keys of Byron, Patsy Johnson of Oakley; siblings: Danny Keys of Oakley, Ramona (Andrew) Petro of NE, Jennifer (Don) Carman of Henderson, John (Kelly) Keys of Chesaning; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Catherine Keys.
A Celebration of Marie's Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Chesaning Area Conservation Club, 13750 Baldwin Road, Chesaning. Pastor Tim Dickenson will officiate. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
