Margaret Hazel Miller Obituary
MILLER, Margaret Hazel – of Midland, formerly Chesaning, died Monday, March 31, 2025, at Avielle Haven AFC in Midland. She was 78 years of age.
Margaret was born in Muskegon, MI on December 15, 1946, a daughter of the late Maurice A. and Margaret (Shaw) Plank. Margaret graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and later graduated from Barber College in Florida. She had previously lived in Midland before coming and residing in Chesaning for eight years. She recently moved back to Midland because of declining health. Margaret was first united in marriage to David Kinsey and that marriage ended. She then was united in marriage to Donald Miller and he preceded her in death.
Margaret had worked as a beautician and a seamstress. She enjoyed music and singing in church. In her free time, she would spend her free time sewing and crocheting. Most of all, she loved her cats.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Scott Kinsey of Virginia, Sandy Kinsey of Chesaning, and Shawn (Lisa) Kinsey of Chesaning; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, Maurice “Laverne” Plank of Muskegon; beloved nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. Margaret was also preceded in death by two older sisters, Ruth Ransom and Marilyn Benetts.
Cremation has taken place. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Chaplain Randall Waibel will officiate at her service. Visitation will be Saturday, April 26 at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of the memorial service. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
