Laurie Jean Ball

Laurie Jean Ball of Montrose died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital. Cremation has taken place.

Laurie was born September 11, 1958, the daughter of Emerson and Margaret Ball. She attended Howell High School. Laurie worked in carpentry and construction and also studied locksmithing. She was an avid coin collector and loved bird watching, animals, flowers and plants, music, movies, and above all, spending time with her friends and family.

Laurie is survived by her mother, Margaret Ball; brother, Tom Ball; sister, Sandra Mack; grandchildren, Mikayla Belanger, Carter Belanger, Ariannah Belanger, Lainey Belanger, and Maison Belanger. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, dear friends, and loved animals Cody and Ziggy. She was preceded in death by her father, Emerson Ball; beloved daughter Rachel; and grandson, Isiak Murphy.
