Kenneth Wayne Shook Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Shook of Montrose passed away at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the age of 74.
Ken graduated from Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 1968. He was united in marriage to Janet M. Rusz on July 26, 1980. He retired from General Motors after 38 years as a repairman and officially retired after ten years with Chesaning Union Schools as a custodian.
Ken most loved his family, children, and grandchildren. He was selfless and would be there to help anyone with anything they needed. He loved to hunt, and his favorite place to be was camping with his trailer and being with his family.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy (Bridges) Shook, as well as his parents-in-law, Steve and Lois Rusz. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jan; their four children, Annette (John) Mason, Kenneth (Jamie) Shook, Meagen (Benny) Mateialona, and Benjamin (Janine) Shook; and his grandchildren including Suliana Mateialona, Uriah Mateialona, Ryder Mateialona, Sia Mateialona, Paige Shook, and Gabriel Shook. He also leaves behind many other family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
