Kenneth P. Romanowski

ROMANOWSKI, Kenneth P. – formerly of Alger and Flint, passed peacefully in his sleep Friday, June 2, 2023, at Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 67 years of age.

 Ken was born on July 9, 1955, in Detroit and was a son to the late Leon and Elizabeth (Gasparich) Romanowski. He was a resident of the Flint area most of his life, retiring to Alger. He was a 1973 graduate of Flint Northern High School. Mr. Romanowski was an accomplished design engineer.  He was employed by Spen-Tech Machine Engineering for many years and owned his own business, Burton Design.  Ken was passionate about design, loved his family, his cabin, his dog, smoking a good joint, and music.

He leaves behind: his fur child, Winslo; daughters, Ashley (Peter) Lindberg of Owosso, Michelle (Noah) Richardson of Chesaning; their mother and the love of his life, Alma Romanowski of Chesaning; 5 grandchildren: Harrison, Evelyn, Gwendolyn, Gabriel and Gracynne; sister, Ingrid Lutze of Burton; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Schneck.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, 2020 E. Hill Rd. in Grand Blanc.  Contributions in memory of Ken may be made to the family or Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue, PO Box 21, Essexville, MI 48732.
