Kenneth E. Perkins, Jr.

PERKINS, Kenneth E. Jr. – of Oakley, died Saturday, May 4, 2024, at his residence. He was 76 years of age.

Ken was born December 9, 1947, in Owosso to the late Kenneth E. and Allene (Moore) Perkins and was a resident of the Chesaning and Oakley areas his entire life. He was united in marriage to Elaine Amman on October 3, 1987. Mr. Perkins was employed at Farmer Peet for 30 years then the Village of Oakley for 24 years. He enjoyed smoking meat, mowing grass and had a joke for every occasion.

He is survived by: his wife, Elaine; children: Jodi (Mark) Zyrowski, Toby (Kelly) Perkins, Brent (Jody) Perkins, all of Chesaning, Casey (Jeff) Kamaloski of Manistee; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings: Gladys (Dick) Willson of Oakley, Joan (Henry) Fuoss of CO, Bonnie (Bob) Havrilla of FL; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: a son, Jordan; brother, Don Hamrick; and sisters, Sue Wheat and Betty Hamlette.

A  visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 2-7 p.m. at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Contributions in his memory may be made to the family. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
