Kelly S. Amman Obituary
AMMAN, Kelly S.- of Chesaning passed away January 11, 2026, at Chesaning Comfort Care with her loving family by her bedside. She was 63 years of age.
Kelly was born in Owosso on June 1, 1962, a daughter of John K. and Mary L. (Schlicker) Hickmott. Kelly grew up in Chesaning and graduated from Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 1980. She was united in marriage to Dan Amman on July 19, 2004. They were married for over 19 years before he preceded her in death on April 22, 2024.
Kelly had moved away from Chesaning after her high school graduation. She moved to California and spent twenty years there, before moving to Traverse City and spending twenty years there. Kelly had worked at various jobs and enjoyed reading and gardening in her spare time.
Kelly is survived by her mother, Mary Hickmott of Chesaning; her siblings, Kenlyn (Adrian) Zoellner of Oakley and Kathy Hickmott and Kevin Hickmott, both of Chesaning; a niece, Anndrea (Al) VanHove of Mt. Morris; and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Amman, her father, John Hickmott, and a nephew, Jonathan Hickmott.
