Kathryn M. Howell Obituary
HOWELL, Kathryn M. – of Chesaning, died Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 83 years of age.
Kathryn was born August 10, 1941, in Dearborn to the late Walter and Mildred (Pierce) Kreft. She was formerly of Fowlerville and became a longtime resident of Owosso. She had lived the past few years in AZ. Kathryn was owner and operator of Strawberry Patch and Thyme in the Country for many years. She was a member of St. Phillips Lutheran Church. Kathryn enjoyed cross stitch, penny quilting, herbs and floral arranging.
Surviving are: dear friends: Oralia (Manuel) Pastoriza of Chesaning, Jackie Bennett of Brighton, Stacia Latunski of Goetzville, Samantha Lebbin of Flint, and Pastor Brian Heidt and his family of Owosso; and many other dear friends. She was also preceded in death by: husband, Harry Howell; son, Michael Howell; and sister, Betty Kreft.
Inurnment will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Oakwood Cemetery in rural Owosso (at the corner of South M-52 and West Bennington Road). She will be laid to rest by her husband, son, and sister.
