Julie’s passion was taking photos of things she loved, reading countless books (dog stories being her favorite), drawing, making her home a natural reserve for wildlife, sister weekends, and being a political activist. The ultimate joy of her life was showing off her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She retired from being an operating room nurse at Owosso Memorial Hospital. Julie and Jerry traveled to their dream destinations before settling down in their Chesaning home, while being snowbirds in Gulf Shores. There she could walk the beach and listen to the waves, which were some of her favorite things.
