Judith Ann Schultz Obituary
Judith Ann Schultz of New Lothrop passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Her age was 78 years.
Judy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on December 2, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Keenan) Tichy. She met the love of her life, Thomas Schultz, and they went on their first date on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1970. They were united in marriage in Southwick, Massachusetts on October 17, 1970.
Judy and Tom have lived in New Lothrop since 2006. She had worked in a variety of jobs, having worked in retail stores and as a waitress. She enjoyed sewing, camping, long rides in the country with her family, reading books, being around people and laughing. She loved her family and her dogs and cats.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Tom; children, Katherine (Walter) Kulas of Springfield, MA, Daniel Schultz of Ionia, MI, Christine Schultz of Brewer, ME, and Wendy Schultz of Lyons, MI; six grandchildren, Christopher Schultz of ME, Michael Schultz of Lyons MI, Dylan (Jennifer) Zambrano of Grand Rapids, MI, Brian (Erica) Kulas of MA, Jesse Waiculonis of ME, and Ryan Schultz of ME; six great-grandchildren, Jacob Kulas, Alayna Schultz, Isabella Kulas, Ashlynn Schultz, Peyton Waiculonis, and Quinn Waiculonis; brothers, William Tichy and George (Peggy) Tichy; her fur babies, dogs, Paris and Buddy, and cat, Shadow; nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. Judy was also preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Bartlett, and two grandsons, Tom and Matthew Kulas.
A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society for Sarcoma Research. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
