Jeffery D. Mason Obituary
Jeffery D. Mason of Owosso passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He had suffered a stroke about two weeks ago. He was 53 years of age.
Jeffery was born in Owosso on December 12, 1967, the son of the late Arlin Dale and Esther Marie (Burnside) Mason. Jeff graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School in the Class of 1986. He was a production worker and had worked at several of the small factories in the area. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Jeff is survived by his fiancé, Angela O’Gorman and her two children, Jacob O’Gorman and Hannah Oakley, all of Haslett; his sisters, Karrie VanCise (Gregg Mead) of Elsie and Laurie Mason of St. Charles; nieces and nephews, Misty Mason, Crystal Berry (Don Liebener), Anthony (Brittany) Mead, Cassey VanCise, and Miranda Mead (Marcus Bell), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his grandparents; a sister, Marci Mead; and a niece, Amber Mason.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Chaplain Beverly Adcock will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from Noon until time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
