Jeffery Gould, a devoted servant of Christ, loving husband, proud Marine went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 12, 2026 at the age of 62. He was born November 4, 1963 in Saginaw, MI.
Jeff’s faith was not just spoken-it was lived. He shared it openly, stood firm on it, and used his life as proof that redemption is real. He did not claim to be perfect – but he showed what it meant to be redeemed, to stand back up, and to walk forward in faith. He believed deeply in forgiveness, restoration, and the power of a changed life. He never hesitated to reach others who needed that same hope. He was known as a man of conviction, discernment, and quiet strength.
He proudly served his county as a United States Marine Corp Machine Gunner, carrying the title with honor, discipline, and courage. Jeff truly personified Semper Fidelis – always faithful – not only to his country, but to our God, his wife, and his family. He was a devoted husband to Lois, a guiding father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Their marriage was a testament to faith, perseverance, and God’s design.
He enjoyed gardening, world history, song writing, singing and playing guitar, especially at the various jamborees where he and his wife were surrounded by special close friends. He was an avid marksman, shooting sports enthusiast, and a member of the Ashley Sportsmans Club. He always carried about a pocket full of nuts for his special squirrel, Joey, and for Tilly. He made time for each of his cats to keep them spoiled.
He is survived by wife Lois; children Amy Coss, Christine (Bill) Tarrant, Jennifer Porter; grandchildren Mark, Brandon (already in heaven), Amber, Alex, Paige, Joshua, Danielle, and Nesiah; great grandchildren; uncle Mike (Shawn); brother John (Wendy) Gould, sister Melissa (Eric) Haistings, nephews and nieces, and special friends he has made throughout the years. He was predeceased by his father, John Gould, his mother, Linda Gould; his biological father, Jim Wilson; and grandson, Brandon Wenzlick.
Jeff’s legacy lives on in every life he touched and every soul he helped guide toward God. “Well done, good and faithful servant” – Matthew 25:23
