Jean Elizabeth (McConnell) Chrysler

April 5, 1933 ~ October 29, 2021 (age 88)

Obituary

Jean Elizabeth Chrysler, our beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Great-Grandma went home to be with her Lord Jesus on October 29, 2021.  She passed peacefully in her sleep.  She was 88 years old.  She was born on April 5, 1933, in her family home to the late Raymond and Tina (Miilu) McConnell.  She grew up in Yale and lived in Birch Run most of her life.

She so loved being a Mom and raised four children who love her dearly: Sally and Tom Charboneau, Sharon and Rick Dowd, Sheila and Scott Niswander, and Scott and Holly Chrysler.

She loved being a Grandma even more.  Her grandchildren are many.  Here they are…Shawn and Krysty Charboneau, Gabriel and Jessica Charboneau, Joel and Brooke Charboneau, Nathan and Nicole Charboneau, and Mark Kelly, Jason and Yvonne Dowd, Angela Kellogg, Ben Dowd, Shannon and Elias Gutierrez, Kyle and Kammie Niswander, Adrienne Niswander and fiancé David, Jolene and James Peterson, Luke Chrysler, Brandon and Kalie Chrysler, and Justin and Shelby Chrysler.

Here now are her Great-Grandchildren…Kayla and Ben Gamber, Taylor and Austin Kelly, Landon, Shiloh, Gavin and Connor Charboneau, Bastion, Asher, Maryn and Judah Charboneau, Isaiah Charboneau, Jaden and MaKenna Moten, Emma and Kadin Kellogg, Andrea, Elias, Natalie and Seth Gutierrez, Khristian, Kaleb and Grayson Chrysler, Ashley Peterson, Aria Chrysler and Elmira Syed.

Here are Great-Great-Grandchildren…Watson, Jaxon and Wesley Gamber.  She would be so proud.

Jean was employed by Vlasic Foods/Campbell’s for many years as a QA Manager.  She loved pickles and brought them for every holiday.  She enjoyed being a member of the American Business Women’s Association.  Her many interests were singing, yodeling, dancing, and writing poetry.  She loved all kinds of music, parades, bagpipes and polkas.  She loved to laugh and giggle – it was contagious.

She was a born-again believer and loved to pray.  Her list was so long.  Her devotion was strong.  She loved Jesus with all her heart.

She dedicated her life to her family, and we will miss her so much.

She also leaves behind her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Don and Ann McConnell, and her beloved sister, Patsy Fretenborough; also, so many nieces and nephews that were very special to her; and wonderful friends and neighbors that she adored.  Many lives were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Jean was preceded in death by her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Eleanor McConnell; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Ray Meyer; beloved brother-in-law, Norm Fretenborough; infant brother, Bobby; infant sister, Joanne; and great-grandson, Keagan Brown.
