Obituary
GAULT, James W. Jr. – recently of Chesaning and formerly of the Flushing and Montrose areas died Wednesday. August 16, 2023, at the Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 76 years of age.
James Jr. was born in Alma on January 21, 1947, a son of James Sr. and Ethel (Benn) Gault. James Jr. retired from Teachout Security Services in the early 2000s. He enjoyed camping, hiking, gardening, and playing rummy and bingo. He also enjoyed doing crafts and was on the resident counsel at the Chesaning Nursing and Rehab Center for many years. When his kids were younger. James loved to spend time with his family, but most of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren.
Mr. Gault is survived by his daughters, Holly Gault of Montrose and Tiffany Gault (Thomas Anslow) of Flushing; six grandchildren, Kaily, Jackson, Brady, Caliber, Sage, and Abel; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Gault on November 17, 2020; two sons, James Gault III on April 18, 2018, and Jon Gault on December 9, 2022; a granddaughter, Jasmyne; his parents; and a sister, Joanne.
