Jacqueline J. Kreinbrink Obituary
KREINBRINK, Jacqueline J. – of Maple Grove Twp. passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Union Court Assisted Living in Chesaning. She was 94 years of age.
Jacqueline was born in Owosso on September 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Elmer and Nina (Haughton) Korf. Jacqueline was a longtime resident of Maple Grove Twp. She graduated from Chesaning Union High School in the Class of 1949 and was the Valedictorian of her class. She was united in marriage to Robert H. Kreinbrink on May 15, 1954, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Maple Grove.
Mrs. Kreinbrink was a bookkeeper, and she began her working career at Farmer Peet’s Packing in Chesaning. She had been employed at various companies before working at Tri-Mer Corporation. She retired from Tri-Mer Corporation in 1989.
When they were able, Jacqueline and Robert enjoyed traveling through the US, including Alaska, and Canada. They loved to go camping and spending time in Florida. In earlier years, she enjoyed Genealogy and learning new things about her family. In recent years, she collected historical US quarters and saved them in special coin books. Each coin was researched to its fullest. She eventually gifted the completed coin books and its research paperwork to her grandchildren and some family members. In her free time, Jacqueline enjoyed reading and going for walks.
Mrs. Kreinbrink is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Robert; her daughter, Cheryl Pierce of Owosso; grandchildren, Brian (Jamie) Pierce of Marshall and Michelle (Pat) Socha of Edgar, Wisconsin; nine great-grandchildren, Bryce, Karter, Blaik, Liam, and Caden Pierce, Serena Brown, and Erica, Isaac, and Lucas Socha; many nieces and nephews; and other loving family and numerous friends. Jacqueline was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Korf; and a son-in-law, Clare Pierce, in 2014.
