Ivah Caroline Kutsch Obituary
KUTSCH, Ivah Caroline – of Chesaning, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Chesaning Comfort Care. She was 91 years of age.
Ivah was born June 24, 1930, in Venice Center, MI to the late Herman and Cecilia (Ashford) Matznick. She was married to William Thomas in 1945. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1976. She then married Julius Lambert on March 24, 1975. He preceded her in death in 1991. She then married Otto Kutsch on June 1, 2002. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2006. Ivah was a member of Freeland Free Methodist Church then more recently Fergus Free Methodist Church. Ivah enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: children: Rose Cruse of Chesaning, Ronald (Joani) Thomas of Tacoma, WA, William Thomas of Merrill, Harry Thomas of Chesaning, Betty (Rodney) Hafner of Chesaning, Kenneth (Brenda) Thomas of NE, Sandy Glover (fiancé Kevin Husted) of IN, Dennis Thomas of Marion Springs, Sally Rogers of Brant, Dale (Tina) Thomas of OH; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Parcher of Owosso, Rose Humbel of Oscoda, Robert Matznick of Lapeer, Celia Ferich of Owosso, Esther (Walt) Duggan of ME, Ilene (Ron) Hesse of U.P., Leonard (Jannelle) Matznick of Owosso; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by infant daughter, Carolyn Sue; daughters, Mary Ann Willoughby and Doris Howe; sons-in-law, Howard Rogers and Billy Glover; siblings, Ken, Gerald, Ronald, Art, Charles, Ernest, and Junie Matznick, Arlene Anderson, and Mollie Finley.
Visitation will be held at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 11-7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation to follow. Inurnment in Wildwood Cemetery will be held at a later date. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
