Hubert D. "DAN" Halligan Obituary
Hubert D. “DAN” Halligan – of St. Charles, formerly of New Lothrop, died Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw. He was 56 years of age.
Hubert Daniel was born in Grand Blanc on April 9, 1968, a son of Hubert Patrick and Betty Sue (Owen) Halligan. Dan graduated from New Lothrop High School in the Class of 1986. He then attended Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis, IN and graduated in 1988.
Dan had worked as a Diesel Master Mechanic for the Shiawassee Regional Education Service District (SRESD) for over 12 years. He was an active member and past board member of the Shiawassee Conservation Association. He was also a member of ABATE Region 10 and the JRHC. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his sons, family, and friends.
Dan is survived by his two sons, Jacob Halligan of Grand Blanc and Jarred Halligan of Chesaning; his mother, Betty Sue Halligan of New Lothrop; a brother, Brian (Sheila) Halligan of Oakley; a nephew, Gabe Halligan; a niece, McKenna Halligan (Evan Prall); the mother of his sons, Leanne Halligan of Chesaning; other loving family; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Patrick Halligan, in 2009.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Pastor Chad Peck will officiate. The visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
