Helen A. Sabo Obituary
SABO, Helen A. - of Chesaning passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Helen was born in Saginaw on February 18, 1937, a daughter of the late James and Mary Ann (Hovanec) Stopjik. Helen lived her entire life in the Chesaning area. She was united in marriage to Gary Sabo on February 19, 1977. He preceded her in on February 24, 1989.
Mrs. Sabo had worked as a machine operator at Universal Electric in Owosso. She was a member of St. Peter Parish Catholic Church in Chesaning. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing lottery tickets, baking, and shopping, and she loved her grandkids.
Helen is survived by her children, Nancy (Steve) Good of Brant, Gary Sabo of Chesaning, and Jackie Sabo of Flushing; grandchildren, Stephanie, Austin (Hannah), Jessica, and Brooke; sisters, Rosie (Robert) Richardson of Owosso and Margaret Adams of Oakley; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Bates; and brothers, John, Vince, Steve, Charlie, Joe, and Jimmie Stopjik.
A private graveside service was held at Resurrection Cemetery in Chesaning.
