Harriet Anna (Neumeyer) Kukulis

Kukulis, Harriet Anna – of Chesaning, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at her residence. She was 92 years of age.

Harriet was born May 6, 1934, in Bay City, MI to the late Albert and Augusta (Piering) Neumeyer . She was united in marriage to Jerry Kukulis on November 10, 1956 at Zion Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2025. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild and Women Serving Christ. Harriet enjoyed sewing, crafting, word search puzzles, gardening, bird watching, puzzles and especially watching the Tigers.

She is survived by: children: Helen Shock of Stevensville, Michael (Steph) Kukulis of Owosso, Robert (Joy) Kukulis of Lansing; grandchildren: Craig (Nicky), Carissa (Brent), Ben (Lindsey), Logan (Kendall); 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Walter, Oscar, Martin, and Norman Neumeyer, Florence Lapworth, and a twin sister at infancy, Helen Neumeyer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Paul Tessmer officiating. Burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning from 2-8 pm and at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am.
