Harold D. Huff

HUFF, Harold D. – of Chesaning, died Monday December 1, 2025, at Haven of Rest Hospice House in Owosso. He was 82 years of age.

Harold was born November 9, 1943, in Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late Owen and Mabel (Essary) Huff and was a resident of Chesaning his entire life. He was a 1962 graduate of Chesaning Union High School. He was united in marriage to Laurel McNier on November 14, 1964. She preceded him in death on June 21, 2008. Mr. Huff retired from the Saginaw County Jail as an Administrator and had over 25 years seniority. He enjoyed fishing, smelt dipping, reading westerns, watching westerns and war movies.

Surviving are: daughters: Kelly Richmond (companion Matt Ellis) of Durand, Kim Huff (companion Ken Shapley) of Chesaning; grandchildren: Matt Eickholt (fiancé Arriell), Aaron Richmond, Donavin (Amelia) Richmond, John Richmond, Amanda Neumann, Andrew Neumann, Robby Kronemeyer, and Remmington Sulen; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Robert (Sandra) Huff of Grand Haven, Billy Joe (Kathy) Huff of KS, Diane Huff of KS; brother-in-law, Bill Bila of Chesaning; special friends: Cody Lanczynski, Brooke Barrett, and Micheyah Aldrich, all of Chesaning; many nieces, nephews, other loving family and dear friends. He was also preceded in death by: a daughter, Shannon Neumann; brother, Kenneth Huff; and sister, Judy Bila.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 8, 2025, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm and again on Monday from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am. Contributions may be made to the family.
