QUADERER, Geraldine R. – of Maple Grove Twp. died Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Brian’s House in Essexville. She was 86 years of age.
Geraldine was born November 8, 1935, in Chesaning, MI to the late Charles and Bernice (Rolfe) Pappenheimer. She was a lifelong resident of Maple Grove Township. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard Quaderer, on August 6, 1955. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2021. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Maple Grove and the St. Helen Lake Association. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, rock hunting, scrapbooking, crafting, and reading, and she loved her kids and grandkids.
Surviving are: children: Lynnette (Dennis) Serdel of Perry, Michelle (Gregory) Wenzlick of Birch Run; four grandchildren: Joshua Wenzlick of Freeland, Zachary (Amber) Wenzlick of Freeland, Gabrielle (Kyle) Binder of Clio, Adam Wenzlick of Birch Run; three great-grandchildren, Austin Wenzlick and Julia Wenzlick of Freeland and Levi Binder of Clio; siblings: David (Alice) Pappenheimer of Chesaning, Rosemary Pieknik of Flint, Charlene (Timothy) Flynn of East Leroy; sisters-in-law: Wanda Pappenheimer of Holly and Sherry Pappenheimer of Chesaning; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: siblings: Charles Pappenheimer, Ernest Pappenheimer, Duane Pappenheimer, Phyllis Reinhart; and brothers-in-law, John Pieknik and Don Reinhart.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2022, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove, Fr. Bob Byrne officiating. Burial to follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Misiuk Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-7:30 p.m. and again at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to Brian’s House, 664 W.
