Gary Tony Kulhanek

KULHANEK, Gary Tony – of Albee Township, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his residence. He was 72 years of age.

Gary was born December 29, 1947 in Saginaw to the late Anthony and Julia (Pasterz) Kulhanek He was a resident of Albee Township and farmed his entire life. Gary was a 1965 graduate of Chesaning Union Schools. He enjoyed old cars and was proud of his 1970 Ford Cobra “Super Dog,” hunting, fishing, crop touring, talking with other farmers and traveling abroad.

He is survived by: faithful fur companions, Taffy and Cinderella; siblings: Karen Corrin of Corunna, Ron Kulhanek of Albee Twp., Judy Moffit of Prudenville; many nieces and nephews especially Angie Kulhanek of Bay City; special friend, Denny Muirhead “Buckwheat” of Chesaning, and Steve Marks of Alaska; many other relatives and dear friends. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Frank Corrin and Dick Moffit.

Visitation will be held on Saturday September 26, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Albee Twp. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army or to one’s local food bank.
