Evelyn Marie Damic

DAMIC, Evelyn Marie – of Chesaning, died Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her residence. She was 82 years of age.

Evelyn was born in St. Charles Twp. on January 9, 1943, to the late Frank and Mary (Mitas) Damic and was a lifelong resident of the Chesaning area. She worked for the Secretary of State and then retired from Chesaning Oil and Gas (now Horger’s.) She enjoyed spending time outdoors, doing yard work, traveling, loved going to casinos and playing the slot machines.

Surviving are: son, Kevin Damic of San Antonio, FL; daughter Pamela, Damic of Oakley; grandchildren: Lindsey Damic (fiancée Paul) of West Palm Beach, FL, and Jordan Damic of Grand Rapids; siblings: Joe (Laurie) Damic of Chesaning, Al (Toni) Damic of Chesaning, Lawrence (Tina) Damic of Grayling, Veronica McPherson of Chesaning; sister-in-law, Karen Damic of St. Charles; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: brothers Frank (and wife Carol) Damic, John Damic; and a granddaughter, Amber.

Memorial services will be held at 7pm Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning. Visitation will be from 11am Wednesday until time of services. Memorial donations may be made to the family. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
