Eugene D. Efu

EFU, Eugene D. – of Chesaning, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. He was 65 years of age.

 Eugene was born October 21, 1953 in Saginaw to the late Leslie and Phelia (Keller) Efu. He grew up in Kochville, MI, lived in Tennessee for many years and then Chesaning the past 5 years. He enjoyed gardening and being with his friends.

 Surviving are: son Nick (Soua) Efu; grandchildren: Jaden, Jemma and Jamison; siblings: Margaret (Roy) Smewing of Chesaning, Janet (Duane) Metevia of TX, Donald (Sally) Efu of Saginaw; sister-in-law Eileen Efu of Saginaw; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Leslie Efu, Ralph Efu, Theresa Tripple, Harold Efu and Paul Efu.

 A memorial service will be held at Montrose United Methodist Church, 15 E. State in Montrose at a later date. Contributions to assist the family may be made to Misiuk Funeral Home, 202 S.
