EDYTH C. SHAW of Oakley, Saginaw County, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Union Court of Chesaning at the age of 83.
Edyth was born March 16, 1937 in Brant, Michigan to the late Viril and Lena (Van Luven) Aldrich. She married George Shaw on November 26, 1955 in St. Charles, Michigan. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2008.
Edyth was a 1956 graduate of Chesaning Schools. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Edyth enjoyed bird watching, growing plants and flowers inside and outside and Morel mushroom hunting.
She is survived by children and their spouses: George Jr. (Patricia) Shaw of Marion Springs. Cheryl (James) Alden of Chesaning. David (Dani) Shaw of Elmira. Roger (Dianne) Shaw of Boyne Falls; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.
No services are planned at this time. Private inurnment will be in Oakgrove Cemetery in Oakley. Contributions in her memory may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association. You may light a memorial candle or share a memory at misiukfuneralhome.com.
